Importance of Navratri:

Navratri has special significance in Hinduism. It is believed that nine forms of Navratri have their own significance. This festival gives a message that no matter how strong lies and fate are there, it is definitely in front of truth. Navaratri has special significance for nine days only. These days people worship nine forms of mother and receive their blessings too. It is believed that whatever mother worshiped with a true heart does not have any kind of problem.
Why is Navaratri and Durga Puja celebrated?
There are different reasons for celebrating Navratri and Durga Puja. It is believed that Goddess Durga had killed the monster named Mahishasur. Navadurga is worshiped in Navaratri as a symbol of goodness on evil. At the same time some people believe that in these nine months of the year goddess mother comes to her maiden. In such a situation, Durga is celebrated as auspicious for these nine days.
